I build & share things on the web.
I’m a senior software developer who specializes in front end development, DX, and accessibility. While I’m in the process of looking for my next company, I’m focused on building my startup at Flipkall.
About Me
My name is Stefan and I enjoy building web applications and sharing my knowledge on the web.
During my time in university studying criminology & business law, I worked as an assistant to a university software engineering professor at a private school teaching STEM and this is where my love for software development began.
While eventually directing the coding program at the private school and deferring going to law school once graduating from my undergraduate, I decided to take the plunge and become a self-taught software developer, mainly focusing on building full stack web applications.
From that moment onwards, I’ve been fortunate to work at companies specializing in UX, aerospace, education, event planning, and home renovations. Here is my current stack that I have been working with:
My Experience
Senior Software Developer @ Block Renovation
- On the Scope Squad to help ensure the internal administrative application made correct home renovation estimations a smooth process from measurements to design.
- Engineering lead on the Labor V2 initiative to help reorganize how we categorize and display labour items for our contractors. This initiative spanned Block’s admin tool, homeowner dashboard, and the contractor/builder mobile application.
- Led initiatives to help improve collaboration between engineers and product designers, which most recently was implementing Chromatic in the CircleCI pipeline to deploy our Storybook components.
